How is Isoamyl Laurate made?

Isoamyl Laurate is made from natural ingredients such as sugar cane, sugar beet and Coconut Oil. These raw materials are combined in a process called esterification, where isoamyl alcohol and lauric acid react with each other. By using heat and a safe catalyst, a new substance is created: Isoamyl Laurate. The mixture is then thoroughly purified, so that only the pure, clean Finished Product remains. The entire process is sustainable and environmentally friendly.

How do you use Isoamyl Laurate?

Isoamyl Laurate can in principle be used pure, but it won't feel very pleasant on your skin. It's best to mix it with a few nourishing oils. If you're going to add it to a recipe, add it to the oil phase of your formula. Use 1-50%, depending on the desired effect.
