'Ocimum Basilicum', also known as Royal Herb, is used in its entirety through steam distillation to produce Basil Essential Oil. The oil from this fragrant herb with its aromatic leaves has a golden-yellow, green color.

Relaxing
Both through evaporation and in oil form (diluted), Basil has a calming effect. It has a soothing effect on your mood and calms the skin when it is restless. For example, have you just finished an active yoga session? Then a massage with diluted Basil Essential Oil is wonderful.
CAUTION: Do not use during pregnancy. The presence of estragole can cause skin irritation in pregnant women.

Basil Essential Oil has a fresh, spicy scent that fits beautifully in massage oils and diffuser blends.
What can you use it for?
Evaporation
Do you need relaxation? Then you can place the Basil Essential Oil in a diffuser and let the calming vapors spread throughout the room. The spicy aroma will help you relax.
Add 3 drops of Basil Essential Oil to the water reservoir of the diffuser and let the vapors do their work.
Care
Do you want to care for your skin or treat yourself to a relaxing massage? Then Basil Essential Oil is a nice addition.
Mix 5 drops of Basil Essential Oil with a carrier oil of your choice, such as almond oil or olive oil. Gently massage the mixture into your skin.
