DIY Beard Balm

Do you also struggle to keep your beard under control? Then make the DIY Beard Balm yourself, perfect for wild beards that need a bit of structure. Care for and soften your beard with shea butter and mango butter. Nourish and strengthen it with jojoba oil and sweet almond oil. Clear the airways with scots pine and rosemary essential oil and take an internal forest walk of calm and relaxation!

Weigh out all the ingredients neatly and set them ready before you begin.

Heat the beeswax together with the shea butter and mango butter au bain-marie until it has fully melted.

Add the jojoba oil and sweet almond oil to the mixture and stir gently.

Let the mixture cool to below 40°C.

Add the vitamin E oil and essential oils below 40°C and stir gently.

If the beeswax starts to solidify too much, hold your pan briefly above your hot water bath to melt it again. Do not do this for too long, as the ingredients in phases B and C are sensitive to heat.

Pour the mixture into the tin and let it harden completely in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

Apply the DIY Beard Balm like a wax to the beard to keep it under control.
